In 2022, The Woman’s Board pledged $4.6 million to comprehensive reproductive care across a woman’s lifetime.

$2.6 million to fund a buildout of the Northwestern Medicine Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine which supports all individuals and families on their paths to parenthood. The program’s impact has extended to preserve fertility for young patients with cancer and to help at-risk families prevent transmission of fatal genetic diseases. With the Woman’s Board’s support, more people will have access to the preeminent experts and services that the Northwestern Medicine Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine is known for.

$2.0 million to establish a Complex Family Planning Fellowship. The Northwestern Medicine Center for Complex Family Planning is a comprehensive program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital committed to providing patients with high-quality personalized care in all aspects of family planning and contraceptive care. Faculty members, fellows and staff members conduct research to provide the best possible treatment and leading-edge care to patients. This fellowship endowment will help ensure their work will continue to be funded in the future.
